WJSN’s Soobin will be joining the ‘There’s Nothing Like This’ MC team.

According to her agency Starship Entertainment, Subin will be joining SBS’s ‘Wow! Really? Such Things Happen in the World’ (hereafter referred to as ‘Such Things Happen in the World’) as an MC, and will create a sense of empathy across generations and provide new excitement.

Through Starship Entertainment, Subin said, “I’m honored to be on a program that I’ve watched every week since I was little,” and added, “I’m nervous about being the MC for a long-running program that’s come back with a new look, but I’ll do my best to shine with my seniors and give healthy and happy energy to many people. Please watch over me with lots of love and interest.”

‘Wow! Really? This is happening in the world’ is a new version of the long-running program ‘Capture the Moment – This is happening in the world’ that has been on the air for 26 years from May 1998 to May 25th of this year. It introduces expanded material and more diverse characters, and boldly breaks away from the existing 15-minute VCR format to attempt a shorter and more diverse segment composition.

Accordingly, Subin will lead the program with her lively energy and witty hosting skills, working together with broadcaster Jeon Hyun-moo, singer Baek Ji-young, musical actor Kim Ho-young, and comedian Kim Yong-myeong.

Subin is active in various fields such as music, musicals, and entertainment. After showing off her witty banter through numerous programs such as TV Chosun’s ‘Cutie Expedition’ and MBC’s ‘Gashi Na Deul’, Subin established herself as a variety show star. She is currently active as an MC for JTBC’s ‘Hanbli (Han Moon-chul’s Black Box Review)’ and is a ’empathy fairy’ full of sympathetic charm.

Recently, he has been active in various fields, such as making a successful musical debut in 2023 with the musical ‘Aloha, My Moms’, and being recognized for his outstanding acting skills and character digestion through his second work ‘Great Comet’. Subin, who is showing such a multi-talented side, is raising expectations and curiosity about what kind of performance he will show in ‘Such a Thing in the World’.

Meanwhile, SBS’s ‘Wow! Really? Is this happening in the world?’ starring Subin will first air on October 17th at 9 PM.
