Roscosmos cosmonauts Oleg Artemiev, Denis Matveev and Sergey Korsakov congratulated the Russians on the Day of Russia from the ISS.

The corresponding video was published by Roskosmos.

Crew commander Oleg Artemiev said that every year the meaning and significance of this holiday becomes more important and close to the Russians.

“Such an attitude towards our country is natural for us, it is embedded in the cultural and genetic code, in those traditions of unity and devotion to the Motherland, which were created by our ancestors,” he said.

Oleg Artemiev, Denis Matveev and Sergei Korsakov will spend 195 days aboard the station and return to Earth on September 30. Their plans include more than 50 scientific experiments and five spacewalks.
