The advisor of National Electoral Institute (INE), Jorge Montañoconfirmed that together with three other councilors, including the president Guadalupe Taddeiyou will see the debate from the forum that was set up in the Council Chambera few meters from the candidates’ location.

In an interview with the media, at the headquarters of the electoral body, he acknowledged that the party representatives were dissatisfied because the four councilors would be inside the set, but later it was agreed that it would be up to each one where they would be placed.
“The invitation was for all of us who make up the Council, it was a decision that each person makes personally whether or not to be on the set,” he said.
The counselors will be located to the side of the set and will be visible to the candidates, so they were asked to maintain their composure and not enter with electronic devices.
