The preparation for the 3X3 basketball tournament in Dodoni, which will be held between August 1-3, under the auspices of the Hellenic Basketball Federation, the Region of Epirus and the Municipality of Dodoni, is in full swing.
The third consecutive event, which is now becoming an institution, is expected to be a great success this year as well. In fact, at the request of many basketball friends, the deadline for submitting participation declarations is extended until Friday, July 28.
Participation is free, the application process is very simple (as described on the website www.nba-dodoni.gr) and age categories are provided: a) U15 Men, b) U18 Men, c) U18 Women, d) 18+ Men.
The competitive action under the light of the floodlights in the exquisite setting and natural coolness of the Dodona Valley will be (as every year) exciting, meeting all the specifications of holding a 3×3 tournament of the Hellenic Basketball Federation (EEC). The winning teams will be awarded special sports cups, the winners will be given stylish medals, while all participants will be offered commemorative backpacks with the organization’s logo.
Finally, all participants of the games (athletes, official referees, judges, volunteers, etc.) will be provided with selected energy foods throughout the games. Especially on the first day of the tournament, the athletes will have the opportunity to taste homemade Epirotian pies from the ladies of the area.
