A Chinese collector purchased a rare weapon in the online shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive for 5 million yuan ($ 775 thousand). This was reported in Twitter ohnePixel streamer tracking the skin market for the game.
The deal was made in person, the subject of the auction was the StatTrak AK-47 Surface Hardened assault rifle and the Souvenir AWP Legend of the Dragon sniper rifle.
