FAJAR.CO.ID, GOWA — Deputy Chancellor III UIN Alauddin Makassar, Prof. Muhammad khalifah Mustamin, said that his party would take firm action regarding the finding of a counterfeit money factory on his campus.
“Certainly the internal rectorate will take firm action regarding this individual. That is what the campus can do,” said Prof Muhammad to the media crew, Monday (16/12/2024).
Based on the information he received, said Prof Muhammad, the alleged perpetrator was the Head of the Library with the initials IB.
“The information we received from the suspected perpetrator was the head of the library and ther was one staff member,” he said.
Based on this information, Prof. muhammad emphasized that firm action from the campus would follow.
“We are taking firm action against this, for example the head of the library will definitely be disabled,” he said.
He also admitted that he supported the police’s steps in uncovering the case clearly.
“We will definitely be cooperative in supporting the performance of the police,eradicating bad and detrimental behavior because it is not only the residents of UIN Alauddin who suffer losses but the entire wider community who suffer losses,” he explained.
He emphasized that in the aftermath of the raid on the counterfeit money factory, UIN as a campus of civilization was suddenly disrupted.
“UIN alauddin, a large campus with manny alumni, will definitely be disturbed. We are also embarrassed. So the whole community should be calm, patient and encourage the investigation carried out by the police to get to the roots.so, if it is indeed true or not, we will hand it all over to the police as we cannot yet speculate ,” is the key.
