Counting centers need adequate security; BJP writes letter to Election Commission following allegations – NEWS 360 – NATIONAL

Lucknow: With just hours to go before the Assembly polls, the BJP has come out with a new demand in Uttar Pradesh. The BJP has submitted a letter to the Election Commission asking for adequate security at the counting center.

The BJP’s move comes after Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav alleged that voting machines were smuggled into Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s constituency of Varanasi and that elections were rigged. It is learned that the Election Commission has asked the Varanasi ADM to take action in the incident. In the Varanasi constituency, there were scenes showing voting machines being unsafe.

At the same time, it is learned that the BJP will come to power in UP in all the exit polls. It was after this that Akhilesh Yadav came on the scene with allegations. BJP leaders have blamed Akhilesh’s gimmick for the defeat.
