Paris / Brussels: A shock defeat to world champions France, world number two Belgium and last World Cup finalists Croatia on a remarkable day in the UEFA Nations League. Denmark beat France by two goals to one. The Netherlands beat Belgium by four goals to one. Croatia lost by three goals to Austria. Hungary beat Euro Cup winners England (1–0).

France lost to Denmark after taking the lead through Karim Benzema at home. France took the lead through Benzema in the 51st minute after a goalless first half.
