Sai Pallavi is acting in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies. His recently released film ‘Viratha Parvam’ was well received by the fans. Before the release of the film, Sai Pallavi had said in an interview during the promotional work, “Killing Kashmiri Pandits in Kashmir and attacking and killing Muslims carrying cows during the Corona period and asking them to say Jai Shriram is one thing. Both are wrong.” Saipallavi’s speech was highly controversial. Some people were supporting and some were opposing his opinion. Sai Pallavi had released a video on social media giving an explanation in this regard.
Following this, Akil, a member of Bajrang Dal organization, filed a complaint at the Hyderabad Police Station demanding strict action against Sai Pallavi. The Hyderabad Police later issued a notice to Sai Pallavi for making comments that hurt the religious sentiments of a section. Sai Pallavi had filed a petition in the Telangana High Court seeking cancellation of the notice sent by the police. In this case, the Telangana High Court judge dismissed Sai Pallavi’s plea.
