COVID-19: six new cases in Bas-Saint-Laurent

The CISSS du Bas-Saint-Laurent reports six new cases of COVID-19 on its territory, in its report of October 14. A reclassification of two cases was also carried out in some RCMs.

There are 4,165 cases of COVID-19 in Bas-Saint-Laurent since the start of the pandemic. In total, the region has 55 active cases.

In addition, the number of deaths is still at 54, and 3 hospitalizations related to COVID-19, including 2 in intensive care are currently underway in Rimouski.

A total of 4,056 people have recovered since March 2020 in the region. The number of screening tests carried out the day before is 601, according to the CISSS

In addition, there are 298 hospitalizations, a number that has remained stable compared to the previous day. Currently, 76 people are in intensive care, an increase of 1 from the previous day.
