Kerala Covid Cases 2 April 2022: Thiruvananthapuram: In Kerala, Kovid-19 has been confirmed for 331 persons. Ernakulam 69, Thiruvananthapuram 48, Kottayam 43, Thrissur 32, Kollam 30, Kozhikode 20, Pathanamthitta 18, Idukki 16, Alappuzha 14, Malappuram 13, Kannur 9, Palakkad 7, Wayanad 7 and Kasaragod 5 districts were affected.

15,230 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.

One death in the last 24 hours was confirmed to be due to Kovid-19. In addition, eight deaths were reported in the previous days due to late receipt of documents and 65 deaths due to appeal by the Central Government under the new guidelines of the Supreme Court. This brings the total death toll in the state to 68,066.

472 people who were diagnosed and treated were cured. Thiruvananthapuram 60, Kollam 14, Pathanamthitta 12, Alappuzha 16, Kottayam 80, Idukki 115, Ernakulam 65, Thrissur 52, Palakkad 3, Malappuram 18, Kozhikode 1, Wayanad 17, Kannur 10 and Kasaragod 9 were cured. With this, 2836 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are still undergoing treatment.
