Kerala Covid Cases 30 March 2022: Thiruvananthapuram: Kovid-19 confirmed for 438 persons in Kerala Ernakulam 100, Thiruvananthapuram 62, Kottayam 58, Thrissur 44, Kozhikode 35, Pathanamthitta 30, Kollam 27, Idukki 23, Malappuram 17, Alappuzha 15, Kannur 12, Kasaragod The disease was confirmed in 6, Wayanad 6 and Palakkad 3 districts.

17,655 samples were tested during the last 24 hours.

There are currently 13,191 people under surveillance in various districts of the state. Of these, 12,920 are under home / institutional quarantine and 271 in hospitals. A total of 52 people were newly admitted to the hospital.

Currently, out of 3410 Kovid cases, only 11 per cent are admitted to hospitals / field hospitals.

One death in the last 24 hours was confirmed to be due to Kovid-19. In addition, 3 deaths were reported in the previous days but 17 deaths due to late receipt of documents and 17 deaths due to appeal by the Central Government under the new guidelines of the Supreme Court. This brings the total death toll in the state to 67,865.

Today, 3 of the confirmed cases are from outside the state. 389 people were infected through contact. Contact source for 42 is not clear. Four health workers were affected by the disease.

562 people who were diagnosed and treated were cured. Thiruvananthapuram 67, Kollam 10, Pathanamthitta 20, Alappuzha 9, Kottayam 82, Idukki 37, Ernakulam 151, Thrissur 46, Palakkad 3, Malappuram 15, Kozhikode 67, Wayanad 23, Kannur 22 and Kasaragod 10 were cured. With this, 3410 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are still undergoing treatment. 64,60,147 have so far been freed from Kovid.

100 per cent of the vaccinated population was given one dose of vaccine (2,69,34,033) and 87 per cent were given two dose of vaccine (2,33,25,194).
