Kerala Covid Cases 31 March 2022: Thiruvananthapuram: Kovid-19 confirmed for 429 persons in Kerala Ernakulam 89, Thiruvananthapuram 66, Kottayam 50, Kollam 40, Kozhikode 39, Thrissur 34, Pathanamthitta 23, Idukki 21, Kannur 21, Malappuram 16, Alappuzha 11, Wayanad. 9, Palakkad 8 and Kasaragod 2 districts were affected.

19,648 samples were tested during the last 24 hours.

There are currently 12,725 people under surveillance in various districts of the state. Of these, 12,498 are under home / institutional quarantine and 227 in hospitals. About 50 people were newly admitted to the hospital.

Currently, out of 3171 Kovid cases, only 11.4 per cent are admitted to hospitals / field hospitals.

One death in the last 24 hours was confirmed to be due to Kovid-19. In addition, 6 deaths were reported in the previous days due to late receipt of documents and 41 deaths were reported on appeal by the Central Government as per the new guidelines of the Supreme Court. This brings the total death toll in the state to 67,913.

Today, two of the confirmed cases are from outside the state. 372 people were infected through contact. Contact source for 46 is not clear. Nine health workers were affected by the disease.

620 people who were diagnosed and treated were cured. Thiruvananthapuram 63, Kollam 11, Pathanamthitta 64, Alappuzha 22, Kottayam 74, Idukki 61, Ernakulam 159, Thrissur 53, Palakkad 3, Malappuram 14, Kozhikode 61, Wayanad 14, Kannur 17 and Kasaragod 4 were cured. With this, 3171 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are still undergoing treatment. 64,60,767 have so far been freed from Kovid.

Kovid 19 Analysis Report

One dose vaccine (2,69,34,341) was administered to 100% of the population who needed to be vaccinated and two dose vaccines (2,33,27,449) to 87%.
ശതമാനം 79% (12,08,899) of children aged 15 to 17 years were given the first dose and 47% (7,18,853) were given the second dose.

Kerala has the highest number of vaccinations / million in India (14,95,198)

During the period from March 24 to 30, out of an average of 3960 cases being treated, only 2.6 per cent required oxygen beds and only 1.8 per cent needed ICUs.
