French Culture Minister Roselyne Bachelot was hospitalized for complications related to the coronavirus. The broadcaster Bfmtv reports it underlining that Bachelot is the second French minister to be hospitalized for Covid-19 after that of Labor Elisabeth Borne.
Bachelot’s state of health “is not a cause for concern” and his “condition is stable”, the minister’s entourage said, underlining that “his doctor recommended greater surveillance in the hospital in the coming days”. .
Bachelot, 74, announced via Twitter on Saturday that she tested positive for Covid-19 and had ” respiratory symptoms ”. Appointed last July, she took over from Frank Riester.
