Covid Germany, infections on the rise: bulletin July 17

In Germany the number of infections continues to rise. The Robert Koch Institute indicates an incidence of 9.4 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. Yesterday the figure, which has continued to rise for days, was at 8.6 and two days ago at 8. The lowest incidence rate was recorded on 6 July (4.9).


The Robert Koch Institute reported 1,608 new infections in the last 24 hours. A week ago the bulletin mentioned 952 cases. A further 22 deaths are also reported compared to 35 a week ago. Since the start of the pandemic in Germany, 3,743,389 infections have been confirmed with 91,359 deaths. About 3,638,800 people recovered after contracting the infection.
