Covid outbreak on a cruise ship under construction in Germany. A thousand workers were stuck on board after some people tested positive for the Coronavirus. It happened in Bremerhaven, the large port on the North Sea near Bremen, where the ship ‘Odyssey of the Seas’ arrived a week ago to complete the finishing work. Today five new workers were infected, after the first two cases found in recent days. The seven have been isolated in a hotel, while all the others will not be able to get off the ship for now. “We do not expect other cases”, however, reassured a spokesman for the local authorities. According to the shipping company, the workers were tested every day.
