Covid Germany, over 4 thousand patients in intensive care

by time news

For the first time since the beginning of February, intensive care patients in Germany have returned to more than 4 thousand. This was announced by the German Intensive Care Association, which today registers 4,051 hospitalized patients in intensive care, 133 more than yesterday.

At the beginning of January, German ICUs had reached a peak of 5,500 hospitalizations, but by March it had dropped below the 3,000 mark. If the growing trend continues, “we will reach the maximum limit in less than four weeks”, warned Christian Karagiannidis, spokesman for the Association.
