Covid Germany today, contagions on the rise

In Germany, for the sixth consecutive day, the incidence of coronavirus infections continues to rise, even if the data are far from those recorded in the spring. The bulletin of the Robert Koch Institute indicates a seven-day incidence of 6.4 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. Yesterday the figure was at 6.2, Saturday at 5.8 and Sunday July 4th at 5.0. During the third wave of the coronavirus pandemic, the highest incidence figure in Germany was recorded on April 26 (169.3).


The bulletin of the Robert Koch Institute talks about two other deaths and 324 new coronavirus cases confirmed in the last 24 hours. A week ago, the authorities confirmed one death and 212 new cases.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Germany has recorded 3,736,489 infections with 91,233 deaths, while about 3,635,100 people have recovered after contracting Covid-19.
