The covid has left a negative impact on emotional and psychological well-being of four out of ten adolescents in Barcelona, ​​according to a study promoted by the Federation of Child and Adolescent Care Entities (FEDAIA).

This is one of the main study conclusions “The impact of the covid-19 pandemic on adolescents who participate in the services of the SIS model (socio-educational intervention services) in the province of Barcelona. From confinement to the present”, which FEDAIA reported this Tuesday in a statement.

The study has been coordinated by the researcher Núria Fuentes-Peláez, from the GRISIJ group (Research Group on Socio-educational Interventions in Children and Youth) of the University of Barcelona, ​​and has had the collaboration of the Barcelona Provincial Council.

Investigation of the impact of the pandemic

In the field of emotions, the report indicates that 14.3% say that they have felt more angry during this time, a 26.2% who have been afraid or have you felt distressed and a 7,2% that has often been felt solo.
