Covid: India, over 20 million infections since the beginning of the pandemic – First Floor

(ANSA) – DELHI, MAY 04 – India has today exceeded 20 million cases of contagion from Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic, according to official data from the Indian Ministry of Health. In the last 24 hours, the Asian country has identified 357,229 new infections, bringing the total to 20.3 million. The deaths were instead 3,449, for a total of 222,408. However, many experts believe that the actual numbers are much higher. Coronavirus cases healed in India have so far been 16.3 million. (HANDLE).
