Covid Israel, third dose for immunosuppressed patients

by time news

Immunosuppressed Israeli patients could be given a third dose of the coronavirus vaccine. This was announced by the Ministry of Health of the Jewish state, Nitzan Horowitz, according to which supplies of Moderna vaccine are available for those who have already had two doses. The Israeli population has been vaccinated almost exclusively with BioNTech / Pfizer, but supplies could run out by the end of the month. In recent days, infections have started to rise again in Israel – where 56% of the population has already received two doses of the vaccine – due to the spread of the Delta variant.
