LOMBARDY – There are 4,599 new coronavirus infections registered today, February 25, in Lombardy, compared to 63,428 swabs carried out, of which 7.2% was positive. There are 18 deaths. There are 85 patients currently admitted to intensive care (-10 compared to yesterday, equal to -10.5%), the average age is 63.8 years. Of the total, 42 were not vaccinated (zero doses of vaccine received, average age 65.7 years), 49.4%; 43 are fully vaccinated (mean age 61.7 years). As for the patients hospitalized in the other Covid departments, they are 1,488 (-76 compared to yesterday, -4.9%), average age 74.3 years. The total number of people healed are 5,742 more than yesterday and reach 1,124,185.
FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA – There are 687 new coronavirus infections today 25 February 2022 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, according to data and numbers from the latest Covid-19 bulletin of the Region. There are another 5 deaths. In detail, today in Friuli Venezia Giulia, on 5,599 molecular swabs, 264 new infections have been detected, with a positive percentage of 4.72%. There are also 6,166 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 423 cases (6.86%) were detected. There are 15 people hospitalized in intensive care, while patients hospitalized in other departments drop to 250. This was announced by the deputy governor of the Region with responsibility for Health Riccardo Riccardi. As regards the trend in the spread of the virus among the population, the most affected group is 40-49 (16.89%), followed by 30-39 (14.99%) and 50-59 years (14, 41%).
Overall deaths amounted to 4,765, with the following territorial subdivision: 1,164 in Trieste, 2,276 in Udine, 906 in Pordenone and 419 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 281,291, the clinically healed 287, while the people in isolation are 20,384. Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 306,992 people have been positive.

There are 39 people admitted to intensive care (-4 compared to yesterday). There are 1,016 hospitalized patients not in intensive care (-56 compared to yesterday). There are 46,901 people in home isolation.
VALLE D’AOSTA – There are 42 new coronavirus infections today 25 February 2022 in Valle d’Aosta, according to data and numbers from the latest Covid-19 bulletin of the Region. There is a new death. The new cases of positivity in Valle d’Aosta bring the overall total of people infected with the virus since the beginning of the epidemic to 31,344. The current positives are 1403 of which 1368 in home isolation, 31 hospitalized, 4 in intensive care. The total healed today are 29,422, an increase of 62 units compared to yesterday. The cases tested are 127,912 while the swabs carried out so far are 465,865. With the death reported today, the number of people who died in Valle d’Aosta since the beginning of the emergency and tested positive for Covid rises to 519.
TUSCANY – There are 2,587 coronavirus infections in Tuscany today, 25 February 2022, according to numbers and covid data from the region’s bulletin anticipated on Telegram by governor Eugenio Giani. 32 other deaths recorded. “The new cases registered in Tuscany are 2,587 out of 26,080 tests of which 7,609 molecular swabs and 18,471 rapid tests. The rate of new positives is 9.92% (51.5% on the first diagnoses)”, writes Giani, adding that the vaccines currently administered in Tuscany are 8,641,227 of which 2,279,919 booster doses. New cases by province – Province of Bari: 855; Province of Bat: 249; Province of Brindisi: 317; Province of Foggia: 521: Province of Lecce: 1,019; Province of Taranto: 447; Residents outside the region: 21; Province in definition: 8. There are 82,345 people currently positive in Puglia. There are 674 covid patients admitted to hospital in a non-critical area. In the intensive care unit, there are 39 patients.
ABRUZZO – There are 1,293 new coronavirus infections today 25 February 2022 in Abruzzo, according to data and numbers from the latest Covid-19 bulletin of the Region. There are another 2 deaths. The new positive cases bring the total in Abruzzo since the beginning of the emergency – net of realignments – to 260997. Of today’s positives, 697 were identified through rapid antigen tests. This was communicated by the Regional Health Department. The death toll of patients recorded 2 new cases (this is a 79 year old from the province of Teramo and a 58 year old from the province of Chieti) and rises to 2947. The number of positive cases also includes 187,888 discharged / healed (+902 compared to yesterday). The currently positives in Abruzzo (calculated by subtracting the number of discharged / cured and deceased from the total of positives) are 70162 (+388 compared to yesterday), the total also includes 14684 cases concerning patients lost to follow up since the beginning of the emergency, on which checks are underway. There are 415 patients (-1 compared to yesterday) hospitalized in the medical area; 14 (unchanged compared to yesterday) in intensive care, while the other 69733 (+389 compared to yesterday) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL.
BASILICATA – There are 501 new coronavirus infections today 25 February 2022 in Basilicata, according to data and numbers from the latest Covid-19 bulletin of the Region. No new deaths. New positive cases were detected on a total of 3,251 swabs (molecular and antigenic). These are the data from the regional bulletin of the coronavirus task force referring to the last 24 hours. 613 healings were recorded. The hospitalized for Covid-19 are 117 (+4) of which 2 in intensive care. Overall, the current positives residing in Basilicata are about 19,700.
For the vaccination, 880 administrations were made yesterday. So far 466,973 Lucanians have received the first dose of the vaccine (84.4 percent of the population which amounts to 553,254 residents), 435,817 have received the second (78.8 percent) and 335,688 are the third doses (60.7 percent) , for a total of 1,238,478 administrations carried out. The age groups with the greatest coverage in the order are 70-79 years (first dose 99.99%; second 96.8%; third 89.2%), 60-69 years (first dose 98.1%; second 93.8%; third 82.2%), over 80 (first 96.2%; second 93.4%; third 85.5%) and 16-19 years (first 92.6%; second 82.7% ; third 52.2%).
