There are another 35 deaths. 4,489 patients recovered. On the island the positives are 226,472 – 3,136 more than yesterday – and of these 896 are hospitalized in the ordinary regime, 63 in intensive care, with three new entries, and 225,513 are in home isolation.
SARDINIA – There are 2,063 new coronavirus infections confirmed in Sardinia today, March 8, 2022, according to data from the Region’s covid bulletin. A total of 13831 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic. The patients admitted to the intensive care units are 20 (- 6). There are 323 patients admitted to the medical area (same data as yesterday). There are 24,083 cases of home isolation (- 709). There are 11 deaths: an 83-year-old woman and a 73-year-old man residing in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari; two 69-year-old women, residing in the province of South Sardinia; an 89-year-old woman residing in the province of Oristano; three men aged 75, 79 and 84, residing in the province of Sassari and three deaths in the province of Nuoro.
