SICILY
There are 538 new coronavirus infections in Sicily according to today’s bulletin, 19 September. Also recorded 2 other deaths. 14,076 swabs performed, the positivity rate is 3.8%. 238 recovered, 101 hospitalized in intensive care. Among the regions, Sicily is the one that today records the largest number of new cases.
LOMBARDY
There are 348 new coronavirus infections in Lombardy according to today’s bulletin, 19 September. Also recorded another death. In Milan and the province there are 101 new cases. 49,158 swabs carried out, the positivity rate is 0.7%. Two more people are hospitalized in intensive care. 33,982 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic. 58 new cases in the province of Brescia, 40 in Monza and Brianza, 24 in Bergamo, 19 in Pavia, 17 in Cremona, 13 in Lecco, 12 in Mantua, 9 in Lodi, 7 in Sondrio, 5 in Varese and 4 in Como .
CAMPANIA
There are 362 coronavirus infections in Campania today, 19 September 2021, according to the covid numbers of the bulletin. Recorded 6 more deaths. The new cases were identified from the analysis of 17,884 swabs. In Campania there are 22 Covid patients hospitalized in intensive care, 309 Covid patients hospitalized in hospital wards.
EMILIA ROMAGNA
Since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, 420,461 cases of positivity have been recorded in Emilia-Romagna, 343 more than yesterday, out of a total of 25,147 swabs performed in the last 24 hours (1.4%).
Meanwhile, the anti-Covid vaccination campaign continues, extended to all citizens over 12 years of age. At 3 pm, a total of 6,283,908 doses were administered; out of the total, 3,016,263 people have completed the vaccination cycle.
ABRUZZO
There are 61 new coronavirus infections in Abruzzo according to today’s bulletin, 19 September. In addition, another dead person was recorded. The new cases are between the ages of 3 and 91.
The death toll rises to 2,536. 2,121 are currently positive (+60), 78 hospitalized in the medical area (+2), 6 in intensive care (unchanged), 2,037 in home isolation (+58). The new positives are resident in the province of L’Aquila (27), Chieti (12), time.news (2), Teramo (20). In the last few hours, 2,393 molecular swabs and 6,197 antigen tests have been performed. A total of 76,020 people recovered (unchanged).
LAZIO
There are 277 new coronavirus infections in Lazio according to today’s bulletin, 19 September. Also recorded 2 other deaths. In Rome city the new cases are 144. 7,344 molecular swabs and 6,468 antigenic swabs in the last 24 hours, for a total of 13,812 swabs performed. -99 the new positives from yesterday and -46 compared to Sunday 12 September.
426 hospitalized (-3), 58 intensive care (=) and 326 recovered. The ratio of positives to buffers is 2%. Decisive decrease in positive cases both on a daily and weekly basis, vaccine effect.
SARDINIA
There are 60 new coronavirus infections in Sardinia according to today’s bulletin, 19 September. There is also another death. 1,548 people tested. A total of 1,803 tests were processed, including molecular and antigenic. There are 19 patients admitted to intensive care units (1 fewer than yesterday). There are 190 patients admitted to the medical area (4 more than yesterday). There are 3,526 cases of home isolation (96 fewer than yesterday). The death of a 77-year-old man residing in the Province of Southern Sardinia is recorded.
VENETO
There are 364 coronavirus infections in Veneto today, 19 September 2021, according to the covid numbers of the region’s bulletin. 1 death registered, bringing the total of victims to 11,739. The current positives are 12,154 (-57), while the discharged / recovered are 441,290 (+ 420).
FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA
There are 84 new coronavirus infections in Friuli Venezia Giulia according to today’s bulletin, 19 September. Zero, however, the deaths recorded in the last 24 hours. On 2,400 molecular swabs 74 infections were detected with a positive percentage of 3.08%. In addition, 5,092 rapid antigenic tests have been carried out, from which 10 cases (0.20%) were detected. There are 11 people hospitalized in intensive care, while patients in other departments amount to 45. The total deaths are 3,814.
CALABRIA
There are 198 new coronavirus infections in Calabria according to today’s bulletin, 19 September. Also recorded two other deaths. 3,442 swabs performed, +173 healed, 1,373 the total of deaths. The bulletin also records +23 currently positive, +21 in isolation, +1 hospitalized and, finally, +1 intensive care (for a total of 16).
The Asp of Cosenza announces that today there are 68 new cases; the total number of cases increased by 66 units and not by 68, as 2 cases at home were eliminated as double results. Today in the setting outside the region there are: 1 new case at home and 1 hospitalization among the positive at home, previously included among the residents in the region.
VALLE D’AOSTA
There are 9 new coronavirus infections in Valle d’Aosta according to today’s bulletin, 19 September. Zero, however, the deaths recorded in the last 24 hours. The total number of people infected with the virus in the region since the beginning of the epidemic is 12,083. The current positives are 66 of which 63 in home isolation and two hospitalized. The cases tested to date are 84,349. The deaths of people tested positive for the virus in Valle d’Aosta from the beginning of the epidemic to today are 473.
PUGLIA
There are 164 coronavirus infections in Puglia today, 19 September 2021, according to the covid numbers of the region’s bulletin. There are no deaths. The new cases, according to the data, were identified on 13,391 tests. The 57 infections in the province of Bari and the 51 in the province of Lecce stand out. Currently positive people are 3,298. There are 187 covid patients hospitalized in a non-critical area. In intensive care, however, 19 patients.
TUSCANY
There are 418 coronavirus infections in Tuscany today, 19 September 2021, according to the covid numbers of the region’s bulletin. The data was anticipated by the governor Eugenio Giani on social networks. Since yesterday, 5 deaths have been registered. “The new cases registered in Tuscany are 418 out of 17,876 tests of which 8,485 molecular swabs and 9,391 rapid tests. The rate of new positives is 2.34% (7.3% on the first diagnoses)”, writes Giani, adding that vaccines currently administered in Tuscany are: 5,206,745.
New cases are 0.1% more than the previous day’s total. The healed grew by 0.2% and reached 263,738 (94.4% of total cases). Today 8,485 molecular swabs and 9,391 rapid antigenic swabs were performed, of which 2.3% were positive.
The current positives are 8,482 today, stable compared to yesterday. The hospitalized are 385 (10 less than yesterday), of which 49 in intensive care (2 more). Unfortunately, today there are 5 new deaths: 3 men and 2 women with an average age of 81.2 years.
The average age of the 418 new positives today is about 40 years (24% are under 20, 23% between 20 and 39, 32% between 40 and 59, 15% between 60 and 79, 6% have 80 years or older).
