SARDINIA – There are 351 new coronavirus infections in Sardinia according to today’s bulletin, April 18. The data table of the Region also records another 2 deaths. In Rome, 500 cases reported. In detail, “out of over 12 thousand swabs (-3.201) and over 15 thousand antigenic for a total of over 27 thousand tests, there are 1,127 positive cases (-251), 25 deaths (=) and +1,140 cured”, says the councilor for Health and Social and Health Integration of the Lazio Region Alessio D’Amato.
“Cases, hospitalizations and intensive care are decreasing, while deaths are stable. Of the 751 new cases, 323 were asymptomatic (43%).
ABRUZZO – There are 258 infections today, April 18, according to data from the region’s bulletin. Since yesterday, another 4 deaths have been recorded. In detail, the 258 new positives (aged between 5 months and 94 years – 64 Aq, 59 Ch, 8 Pe, 117 Te, 10 residents outside the region or with residency under investigation), were identified on 4,223 molecular swabs and 2,053 antigenic tests. The healed are 56,951 recovered (+25), 10,100 currently positive (+229), 506 hospitalized in the medical area (-9), 56 hospitalized in intensive care (+2), 9,538 in home isolation (+236).
PUGLIA – There are 1,278 new cases. Since yesterday, another 17 deaths have been reported. In detail, the curve of new infections drops compared to yesterday, in the face of a decrease in the number of tampons. There is a slight increase in the number of deaths, the healed are constantly growing and the current positives and hospitalized patients are still decreasing. As can be seen in the daily epidemiological bulletin drawn up by the Region, based on information from the Department of Health, 10,201 tests, 1,278 positive cases emerged: 474 in the province of Bari, 96 in the province of Brindisi, 114 in the province of Bat, 239 in the province of Foggia, 137 in the province of Lecce, 211 in the province of Taranto, 1 case of resident outside the region, 6 cases of unknown province of residence.
There are 51,438 cases currently positive while yesterday they were 51,515 (-77). There are 2,174 hospitalized patients while yesterday they were 2,191 (-17).
The total of positive Covid cases in Puglia since the beginning of the emergency is 220,231 divided as follows: 85,426 in the province of Bari; 21,461 in the province of Bat; 16,162 in the province of Brindisi; 40,106 in the province of Foggia; 21,422 in the province of Lecce; 34,584 in the province of Taranto; 730 attributed to residents outside the region; 340 province of residence not known.
FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA – Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia out of 4,147 molecular swabs 169 new infections have been detected with a positive percentage of 4.07%. There are also 3,903 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 52 cases (1.33%) were detected. There are 8 registered deaths, plus five previous ones; admissions to intensive care units remain 57, while those in other departments are decreasing, which appear to be 377. This was communicated by the deputy governor with responsibility for Health, Riccardo Riccardi.
The overall deaths amounted to 3,601, with the following territorial subdivision: 762 in Trieste, 1,913 in Udine, 654 in Pordenone and 272 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 84,937, the clinically healed 5,087, while the people in isolation today drop to 9,064.

BASILICATA – There are 147 new coronavirus infections in Basilicata according to the data of the bulletin today, April 18. There have been no deaths in the past 24 hours. Since yesterday, 1,357 molecular swabs have been processed. There are 80 recovered or negated Lucanians. Updating the overall data, the currently positive Lucanians rise to 5,558 (+66), of which 5,375 in home isolation.
15,623 people residing in Basilicata recovered from the beginning of the health emergency and 479 died.
