There are 4,743 new coronavirus infections in Italy (yesterday 5,140), according to data from the Ministry of Health released by the Civil Protection. Since yesterday there have been 7 deaths (yesterday there were 5) which bring the total number of victims since the beginning of the emergency to 127,949. In the last 24 hours, 176,653 swabs were performed, with a positivity rate of 2.68%.
There are 1,392 people hospitalized with symptoms, up (+52) compared to 1,340 yesterday, while 178 hospitalized in intensive care (+6 since yesterday), with 16 admissions in the last 24 hours. Compared to yesterday, 1,001 people have recovered, 4,123,209 since the beginning of the pandemic.

LOMBARDY – There are 461 new coronavirus infections in Lombardy according to today’s bulletin, 25 July. Also recorded another death. The swabs carried out are 28,092 while the swabs / positive ratio stands at 1.6%. 150 patients hospitalized with symptoms, those in intensive care 27 (-2). 33,816 the number of people who have died since the start of the pandemic. There are 128 new coronavirus positives recorded in the province of Milan in the last 24 hours. As for the other provinces of Lombardy, 36 new cases are recorded in Brescia, in Varese 22, in Monza 61, in Como 34, in Bergamo 37, in Pavia 17, in Mantua 26, in Cremona 30, in Lecco 9, in Lodi 16 and in Sondrio 5.
LAZIO – Today on over 8 thousand swabs in Lazio (-2036) and over 17 thousand antigenic for a total of over 25 thousand tests, there are 660 new positive cases (-185), 2 deaths (+2), 211 hospitalized (+15 ), the intensive therapies are 32 (=), the cured are 205. The ratio between positives and swabs is 7.9% but if we also consider the antigenic the percentage drops to 2.5%. The cases in Rome city are at an altitude of 378. This was announced by the councilor for Health and Social and Health Integration of the Lazio Region Alessio D’Amato. There are 0 deaths in the provinces, 2 in Rome.
Today it has a ceiling of 6.6 million total vaccine administrations, exceeding 3 million second doses. 63% of the adult population has completed the vaccination course. The Nuvola hub today exceeded 400 thousand administrations. In particular: in the ASL Roma 1 there are 163 new cases in the last 24h, these are isolated cases at home or with family link or contact of a case already known, and one death; in the ASL Roma 2 also here 163 new cases in the last 24 hours and 0 deaths; in ASL Roma 3 52 new cases in the last 24 hours and 0 deaths; in ASL Roma 4 34 new cases in the last 24 hours and one death; in the ASL Roma 5 24 new cases in the last 24h and 0 deaths; in the ASL Roma 6 86 new cases in the last 24 hours and 0 deaths.
In the provinces there are 138 new cases and 0 deaths are recorded in the last 24 hours: In the Asl di Frosinone there are 26 new cases and 0 deaths; in the ASL of Latina there are 84 new cases and 0 deaths; in the Asl of Rieti there are 5 new cases and 0 deaths and in the Asl of Viterbo there are 23 new cases and 0 deaths.
EMILIA ROMAGNA – Since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, 391,422 positive cases have been recorded in Emilia-Romagna, 565 more than yesterday, out of a total of 15,059 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, the anti-Covid vaccination campaign continues, extended to all citizens over 12 years of age: at 14 today a total of 4,811,728 doses have been administered; out of the total, 2,152,527 are the people who have completed the vaccination cycle. Overall, among the new positives 132 were already in isolation at the time of the swab execution, 210 were identified within already known foci. The average age of new positives today is 30. These are the data – ascertained at 12 today on the basis of institutional requests – relating to the progress of the epidemic in the region.
In the last 24 hours, 5,120 molecular swabs were performed, for a total of 5,176,041. In addition, there are also 9,939 rapid tampons. As for the total number of people healed, they are 40 more than yesterday and reach 373,316. The active cases, that is the actual patients, to date are 4,833 (+524 compared to yesterday). Of these, people in isolation at home, that is, those with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or are symptom-free, total 4,674 (+524), 97% of the total number of active cases. There is a new death: an 81-year-old man residing in the province of Parma. In total, there have been 13,273 deaths in the region since the beginning of the epidemic. There are 9 patients admitted to intensive care (stable compared to yesterday), 150 those in the other Covid departments (stable).
FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA – Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia, on 2,185 molecular swabs, 30 new infections have been detected with a positive percentage of 1.37%. There are also 1,727 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 11 cases (0.64%) were detected. 88% of today’s infections affect people under the age of 49. There are no deaths; two people are hospitalized in intensive care, while the patients in other departments are 9. This was announced by the deputy governor with responsibility for Health, Riccardo Riccardi, announcing that the week from 19 to 25 July ends with an increase in the number of new cases of the 96% compared to the previous one (from 161 to 316 infections). To date, the incidence over seven days is 26 per 100,000 inhabitants.
“Given the current trend, it is likely that the incidence will exceed the threshold of 50 cases per 100,000 inhabitants by the end of the month”, explains Riccardi. The deaths totaled 3,789, with the following territorial subdivision: 813 in Trieste, 2,012 in Udine, 671 in Pordenone and 293 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 103,329, the clinically recovered 27, while those in isolation are 417. Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 107,573 people have been positive with the following territorial division: 21,337 in Trieste, 50,502 in Udine, 21,214 in Pordenone (the number was reduced by one unit after a case review), 13,113 in Gorizia and 1,407 from outside the region.
Among the staff of the regional health system, the positivity of a social health worker from Asugi was noted, while no cases were detected either among the guests of the residential facilities for the elderly or among their operators.
APULIA – There are 164 new coronavirus infections in Puglia according to today’s bulletin, 25 July. On the other hand, there are no new deaths. 6,610 tests for coronavirus infection were recorded and 164 positive cases were detected: 43 in the province of Bari, 12 in the province of Brindisi, 15 in the province of Bat, 5 in the province of Foggia, 72 in the province of Lecce, 10 in province of Taranto, 2 cases of residents outside the region, 5 cases of unknown province of residence. Yesterday the new infections were 138 out of 13,143 swabs. The death toll remains at 6,664 and 2,834,769 tests have been carried out since the start of the emergency. 246,172 patients recovered while yesterday they were 246,148 (+24). The currently positive cases are 2,213 while yesterday they were 2,073 (+140). The hospitalized are 87 while yesterday they were 90 (-3).
The total of positive Covid cases in Puglia since the beginning of the emergency is 255,049, divided as follows: 95,600 in the province of Bari; 25,709 in the province of Bat; 20.004 in the province of Brindisi; 45,355 in the province of Foggia; 27,458 in the province of Lecce; 39,638 in the province of Taranto; 838 attributed to residents outside the region; 387 province of residence not known.
CALABRIA – There are 93 new coronavirus infections in Calabria according to today’s bulletin, 25 July. On the other hand, there are no new deaths. 1,705 swabs carried out, +6 cured. The total death toll in the region is 1,244. The bulletin also records +87 currently positive, +89 in isolation, -2 hospitalized and, finally, stable intensive care (for a total of 4). The Asp of Crotone communicates that of the 16 positives today, one is outside the region and one is a migrant and, moreover, one outside the region is cured. The Reggio Calabria ASP communicates that of the 42 positives today, two are migrants landed in Ardore.
ABRUZZO – There are 85 new infections in Abruzzo according to today’s bulletin, 25 July. On the other hand, there are no new deaths. The new positives are between the ages of 1 and 85. Yesterday there were 53 and Friday 62. Eight infections were registered in the province of L’Aquila, 7 in that of Chieti, 46 in the time.news area and 18 in Teramo, 6 with residence under investigation. 2,197 molecular swabs and 3,962 antigen tests were performed in the last few hours. TUSCANY – Coronavirus infections in Tuscany are 513 according to data from today’s bulletin, 25 July. There are also two other deaths, 2 men, with an average age of 88 years. 505 cases confirmed with molecular swab and 8 by rapid antigen test, which brings the total number to 248,571 since the beginning of the coronavirus health emergency. New cases are 0.2% more than the previous day’s total. The healed grew by 0.02% and reached 237,541 (95.6% of total cases). Today 7,582 molecular swabs and 4,500 rapid antigenic swabs were performed, of which 4.2% were positive. On the other hand, 5,660 subjects tested today (with antigenic and / or molecular swab, excluding control swabs), of which 9.1% were positive. The currently positive are 4,127 today, + 12.4% compared to yesterday. There are 112 hospitalized (13 more than yesterday), of which 16 in intensive care (2 more).
