Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism has announced the Kovid Safety Protocol for companies and recreation centers celebrating the New Year. Green Pass is mandatory for those attending the celebration. Kovid should also have a negative result taken within 96 hours.
Participants in the celebration should wear masks and maintain social distance. Strict action will be taken against those who violate the law during celebrations. Recipients of the Kovid vaccine will receive a green pass on the Al Hosn app for 14 days if they take the PCR test. In addition, those who have a negative result of the PCR test taken within 96 hours will be allowed to enter the celebrations.
The body temperature should be checked on the EDE scanner at the entrance. Only 60 per cent of the capacity should be attended by people, the mask and the social distance of one and a half meters is mandatory, there should be no distance between family members, there should be different gates for entry and return, the venue of the celebration should be disinfected, sanitizers should be installed and other committees should be appointed to ensure compliance with the norms.
