There are 18,678 new infections from Coronavirus in Italy today, 12 June 2022, according to Covid data and numbers – region by region – of the Civil Protection bulletin and the Ministry of Health. There are also another 26 deaths.
In the last 24 hours, 127,704 swabs were processed with a positivity rate of 14.6%.

LAZIO – There are 2,700 new infections from Coronavirus today, June 12, 2022 in Lazio, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Two deaths have been recorded since yesterday. In the last 24 hours 3,041 molecular swabs and 12,484 antigenic swabs were processed with a positivity rate of 17.3%. There are 454 hospitalized patients (+2 since yesterday), 29 intensive care (-2) and 2,013 healed in the last 24 hours. The cases in Rome city are at 1,672. In detail, for the ASL Roma 1, 613 new cases and no deaths; Asl Roma 2, 582 new cases and no deaths; Asl Roma 3: there are 477 new cases and no deaths; Asl Roma 4: 124 new cases and 1 death; Asl Roma 5: 190 new cases and 1 death. Asl Roma 6: 210 new cases and no deaths.
In the provinces there are 504 new cases. Asl di Frosinone: there are 133 new cases and no deaths. ASL of Latina: there are 238 new cases and no deaths. Asl di Rieti: there are 40 new cases and no deaths. Asl di Viterbo: there are 93 new cases, no deaths.
LOMBARDY – There are 2,368 new infections from Coronavirus today, 12 June 2022 in Lombardy, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday, 12 deaths have been recorded, bringing the total of victims to 40,670 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic in the Region. In the last 24 hours, 20,358 molecular and antigenic swabs were processed, of which 11.6% was positive. The number of hospitalized patients slightly decreases: in the ordinary Covid wards there are 428, 8 less than yesterday; in intensive care 20, one less than 24 hours ago. In the metropolitan area of Milan, 822 infections are recorded. Followed by the provinces of Brescia, with 294 new cases, Monza and Brianza (+238), Varese (+169), Bergamo (+162), Como (+134) and Pavia (+117). Double-digit increase in the other Lombard territories: Lecco records 96 infections, Mantua 89, Cremona 74, Sondrio 44 and Lodi 39.
SARDINIA – There are 565 new infections from Coronavirus today, 12 June 2022 in Sardinia, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. One death has been registered since yesterday. In the last 24 hours, a total of 3,420 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic. There are 7 patients hospitalized in intensive care units as yesterday, while those in the medical area are 93. There are 11,166 cases of home isolation.
TUSCANY – There are 1,035 new infections from Coronavirus today, June 12, 2022 in Tuscany, according to the covid-19 data of the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday there has been no death so the number of victims since the beginning of the pandemic in the Region remains at 10,126 people. In the last 24 hours, 1,432 molecular swabs and 5,606 rapid antigenic swabs were processed. There are 197 hospitalized, 3 fewer than yesterday, of which 13 in intensive care, a stable number compared to yesterday.
Among the provinces with the highest number of new infections compared to yesterday, Florence at 268, Prato at 40, Pistoia at 82, Massa-Carrara at 66, Lucca, Pisa at 162, Livorno at 111, Arezzo at 73, Siena at 64 and Grosseto to 60.
EMILIA ROMAGNA – There are 1,818 new infections from Coronavirus today, 12 June 2022 in Emilia Romagna, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday there has been a death which brings the total number of victims in the Region to 17,007 since the beginning of the pandemic. In the last 24 hours 9,114 swabs, including molecular and antigenic swabs were processed. 1,340 people have been healed since yesterday.
There are 28 patients currently hospitalized in the intensive care units in Emilia-Romagna, one more than yesterday. As for the patients hospitalized in the other Covid departments, there are 658, equal to 8 more than yesterday.
The contagion situation in the provinces sees Bologna with 326 new cases followed by Modena at 239, Ravenna at 226, Parma at 195, then, Reggio Emilia at 179, Rimini at 173, Ferrara at 129, Cesena at 127, then, Forlì at 80 finally, Piacenza 72 more than yesterday as well as the Imola district. In isolation at home 17,846 people.
CALABRIA – There are 353 new infections from Coronavirus today, 12 June 2022 Calabria, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday there has been one death for a total of 2,633 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic. In the last 24 hours, 2,391 swabs, both molecular and antigenic, were processed. Since yesterday, 413 people have been healed. One more hospitalization since yesterday for a total of 159) and, finally, one less intensive care unit occupied for a total of three.
