In the last 24 hours, 118,520 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic, which show a positivity rate of 16.4%, a slight increase compared to 14.8% yesterday. Hospitalizations with symptoms are decreasing, 86 fewer since yesterday for a total of 6,442, while people in intensive care are growing, 6 more than yesterday for a total of 262.

LAZIO – There are 1,564 new infections from Coronavirus today, 21 August 2022 in Lazio, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. No casualties have been recorded since yesterday. In the last 24 hours, 10,125 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic, with a positive rate of 15.4%. There are 708 hospitalized patients, 3 fewer since yesterday, while 43 intensive care units are occupied, 2 more than yesterday. In the last 24 hours 2,074 people recovered. The cases in Rome city are at 699.



In detail the cases and deaths of the last 24 hours in the Region. In the ASL Roma 1 there are 226 new cases. Asl Roma 2: there are 284 new cases. Asl Roma 3: there are 189 new cases. Asl Roma 4: there are 45 new cases. Asl Roma 5: there are 128 new cases. Asl Roma 6: there are 155 new cases. In the provinces there are 537 new cases: Asl di Frosinone: there are 218 new cases. ASL of Latina: 188 new cases. Asl di Rieti: there are 47 new cases. Asl di Viterbo: there are 84 new cases.

SARDINIA – There are 338 new Coronavirus infections today, 21 August 2022 in Sardinia, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday, 2 deaths have been recorded, one in the Asl of Cagliari and the other in that of Sassari. In the last 24 hours, a total of 2491 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic.

There are 10 patients admitted to intensive care units, one less than yesterday. There are 125 patients hospitalized in the medical area, 4 fewer since yesterday. 14,784 people in home isolation.

EMILIA ROMAGNA – There are 1,727 new infections from Coronavirus today, 21 August 2022 in Emilia Romagna, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. One death has been recorded since yesterday, bringing the total number of victims to 17,796. In the last 24 hours, 7,686 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic, with a positivity rate of 22.4%. Since yesterday 3,238 people have healed.

The patients currently admitted to the intensive care units in Emilia-Romagna are 33, 3 more than yesterday. As for the patients hospitalized in the other Covid departments, there are 1,134, 11 fewer than yesterday.
