LOMBARDY – There are 2,799 new Coronavirus infections today, 20 August 2022 in Lombardy, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday, 24 deaths have been recorded for a total of 42,060 victims.
In the last 24 hours, 21,665 were processed, between molecular and antigenic, with a positivity rate of 12.9%. Ordinary hospital admissions drop to 799, 46 less than yesterday, while those in intensive care remain 21.

In the last 24 hours, a total of 3,218 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic. Eleven patients admitted to intensive care wards, like yesterday, while those in the medical area are 129, 3 fewer than yesterday. 14,657 people in home isolation.
EMILIA ROMAGNA – There are 1,744 new infections from Coronavirus today, 20 August 2022 in Emilia Romagna, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday 8 deaths have been recorded for a total of 17,795 victims. In the last 24 hours, 10,265 swabs were processed with a positivity rate of 17%. The patients currently hospitalized in the intensive care units in Emilia-Romagna are 30, 2 fewer than yesterday. As for the patients hospitalized in the other Covid departments, there are 1,145, 26 fewer than yesterday.

TUSCANY – There are 1,063 new coronavirus infections today 20 August 2022 in Tuscany, according to data and numbers from the latest Covid-19 bulletin of the Region. There are another 5 deaths.
In detail, the Region communicates, ” in Tuscany there are 1,366,204 cases of Coronavirus positivity, 1,063 more than yesterday (178 confirmed with molecular swab and 885 by rapid antigen test). New cases are 0.1% more than the previous day’s total. The healed grew by 0.1% and reached 1,272,411 (93.1% of total cases). Today 761 molecular swabs and 7,119 rapid antigenic swabs were performed, of which 13.5% were positive. On the other hand, 1,613 subjects tested today (with antigenic and / or molecular swab, excluding control swabs), of which 65.9% were positive. The currently positive are 83,187 today, -0.8% compared to yesterday. The hospitalized are 373 (8 less than yesterday), of which 16 in intensive care (stable).
