There are also 38 other deaths for a total of 177,130 victims since the beginning of the pandemic.
In the last 24 hours 180,241 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic, with a positivity rate of 18.8%. Admissions increased, 80 more than yesterday for a total of 4,181, and people in intensive care, 2 more than yesterday for a total of 138

LAZIO – There are 2,810 new infections from Coronavirus today, 1 October 2022 in Lazio, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. No deaths have been recorded since yesterday. In the last 24 hours, 2,766 molecular swabs and 13,341 antigenic swabs were processed with a positivity rate of 17.4%. There are 442 hospitalized patients (+18 compared to yesterday), 27 intensive care (+1) and +1.945 recovered. The cases in Rome city are at 1,356.

Asl Roma 1: 488 new cases and 0 deaths; Asl Roma 2: there are 509 new cases and 0 deaths; Asl Roma 3: 359 new cases and 0 deaths; Asl Roma 4: 169 new cases and 0 deaths; ASL Roma 5: 230 new cases and 0 deaths; Asl Roma 6: there are 219 new cases and 0 deaths. In the provinces there are 836 new cases: Asl di Frosinone: 310 new cases and 0 deaths; ASL of Latina: 270 new cases and 0 deaths; Asl di Rieti: 107 new cases and 0 deaths; Asl di Viterbo: 149 new cases and 0 deaths. There are 44,800 people currently positive for Covid-19 in Lazio, of which 442 are hospitalized, 27 in intensive care and 44,331 in home isolation. Since the beginning of the epidemic 2,018,346 healed, 12,085 dead, out of a total of 2,075,231 cases examined, according to the updated bulletin of the Lazio Region.
SARDINIA – There are 352 new infections from Coronavirus today, 1 October 2022 in Sardinia, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. No deaths have been recorded since yesterday. In the last 24 hours, a total of 2,651 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic. In the intensive care wards a patient is hospitalized (like yesterday). The patients admitted to the medical area are 51 (-3). There are 4630 cases of home isolation (+108).
LOMBARDY – There are 5,991 new Coronavirus infections today, Saturday 1 October 2022 in Lombardy, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday, 10 deaths have been recorded. In the last 24 hours, 30,107 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic, with a positivity rate of 19.90%, slightly lower than yesterday (20.9%).
Among today’s data it emerges that the number of hospitalized patients is increasing, they are 598 compared to the 581 of yesterday (+17) in the ordinary wards; in intensive care there are ten, one more than yesterday. Ten deaths, bringing the total since the beginning of the pandemic to 42,556.
At the provincial level, in Milan the new cases are 1482, in Brescia 902, in Monza Brianza 526, in Varese 578, in Bergamo 616, in Como 455, in Pavia 296, in Mantua 211, in Cremona 215, in Lecco 255, in Lodi 146 and Sondrio 188.
EMILIA ROMAGNA – There are 2,876 new Coronavirus infections today, 1 October 2022 in Emilia Romagna, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday, 4 deaths have been recorded. In total, there have been 18,036 deaths in the region since the beginning of the epidemic. 1,146 people have been healed since yesterday.
In the last 24 hours, 10,206 swabs were processed, of which 3,221 were molecular and 6,985 rapid antigen tests. Overall, the percentage of new positives on the number of tampons made is 28.1%.
Patients currently hospitalized in the intensive care units in Emilia-Romagna are 22 (+3 compared to yesterday). As for the patients hospitalized in the other Covid departments, there are 663 (+17 compared to yesterday). 24,686 people in home isolation.
TUSCANY – There are 1,883 new coronavirus infections today 1 October 2022, according to data and numbers from the latest Covid-19 bulletin of the Region. There are another 6 deaths.
Of the new cases, 332 were confirmed with molecular swab and the other 1,551 with rapid testing. The number of infected people detected in the region since the beginning of the pandemic therefore rises to 1,407,976. New cases are 0.1% more than the previous day’s total. The healed grew by 0.1% (814 people) and reached 1,360,667 (96.6% of total cases).
The data, relating to the progress of the pandemic, are those ascertained today on the basis of the requests of the National Civil Protection. At the moment in Tuscany there are therefore 36,524 positive, + 3% compared to yesterday. Of these 237 (6 more than yesterday) are hospitalized: 4 (stable) are in intensive care. The list of deaths is updated with 6 deaths: 2 men and 4 women with an average age of 86.2 years.
SICILY – There are 1,188 new infections from Coronavirus today, Saturday 1 October 2022 in Sicily according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday there has been one death for a total of 12,202 victims since the beginning of the pandemic. In the last 24 hours 8,572 swabs, both molecular and antigenic, were processed. Of the current positives, 169 patients are hospitalized with symptoms, while 12 patients are in intensive care.
This is the breakdown of the new cases on a provincial basis: 262 in Palermo, 312 in Catania, 162 in Messina, 73 in Ragusa, 91 in Trapani, 145 in Syracuse, 36 in Caltanissetta, 82 in Agrigento and 25 in Enna.
