DATA OF THE REGION
LOMBARDY – There are 16,044 coronavirus infections in Lombardy today, 24 December 2021, according to the record numbers of the Civil Protection and Ministry of Health bulletin on the region. BASILICATA – There are 262 new infections from Coronavirus today, 24 December in Basilicata, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. There have been no deaths since yesterday. In the last 24 hours, 2,170 molecular swabs were processed. Of the new cases, the highest number was still detected in Matera with 48 new cases since yesterday, while the Lucanians recovered or negativized are 43. The hospitalized for Covid-19 are 42, one more than yesterday, of which none in intensive care : 22 in the Potenza hospital and 20 in the Matera one. Overall, the current positives residing in Basilicata are 2,532.
For the vaccination, 3,368 administrations were carried out yesterday, of which about 3,000 were third doses. There have been 22 deaths since yesterday, bringing the total from the beginning of the pandemic to 14,104. In the last 24 hours, 47,902 swabs were processed with a positive rate of 6.4%. 48,381 people in home isolation. The number of patients hospitalized in intensive care is decreasing, which are 107 equal to 3 fewer than yesterday, and those in the other Covid departments that are 1,119, two fewer than yesterday.
The contagion situation in the provinces sees Bologna with 720 new cases, followed by Rimini (358) and Ravenna (353); then Modena (343), Reggio Emilia (335) and Forlì (219); then Parma (192), Piacenza (184), Cesena (166), Ferrara (112), and finally the Imola district with 85 cases.
PIEDMONT – There are 4,609 coronavirus infections in Piedmont today, 24 December 2021, according to numbers and covid data from the region’s bulletin. Recorded another 8 deaths. FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA – There are 826 new infections from Coronavirus today, Friday 24 December 2021, in Friuli Venezia Giulia according to the covid-19 data of the latest bulletin of the Region. 10 people have died since yesterday. In the last 24 hours 7,860 molecular swabs were processed with a positivity rate of 8.18%. In addition, there were 14,068 rapid antigenic tests with a positivity rate of 1.30%. The number of people hospitalized in intensive care has dropped to 25 and patients hospitalized in other departments have fallen to 275. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,170 deaths have been reported in the Region.
