LAZIO

There are also another 4 deaths. 66,723 tests carried out, of which 22,991 molecular swabs and 43,732 rapid tests. The rate of new positives is 22.47% (66.4% on first diagnoses). New cases are 3.9% more than the previous day’s total. The healed grow by 0.1% and reach 300,155 (75.7% of total cases).

VENETO

There are 14,270 new coronavirus infections in Veneto according to today’s bulletin, January 1, 2022. There are also another 12 deaths. Currently positive in the Region are 103,891, the total number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic rises to 12,395.

EMILIA ROMAGNA

There are 12,255 new coronavirus infections in Emilia Romagna according to today’s bulletin, January 1, 2022. There are also another 15 deaths. Since the beginning of the epidemic, 549,175 positive cases have been recorded in the region, the total number of swabs performed in the last 24 hours is 51,575. The percentage of new positives on the number of swabs made is 23.7%, a value not indicative of the general trend given the number of swabs performed, which on holidays is lower than on other days and above all molecular swabs are made primarily on cases for which a positive result is often expected. Meanwhile, the anti-Covid vaccination campaign continues. At 2 pm a total of 8,458,268 doses were administered; out of the total 3,610,748 people over 12 who have completed the vaccination cycle. The third doses are 1.383.709.

FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA

There are 2,331 new coronavirus infections in Friuli Venezia Giulia according to today’s bulletin, January 1, 2022. In addition, another 12 deaths have been recorded. On 9,401 molecular swabs, 1,825 new infections were detected, with a positivity rate of 19.41%. Furthermore, 17,561 rapid antigenic tests have been carried out, from which 506 cases (2.88%) were detected. This was announced by the deputy governor of the Region with responsibility for Health Riccardo Riccardi.

PUGLIA

There are 3,000 new coronavirus infections in Puglia according to today’s bulletin, January 1, 2022. On the other hand, there are no new deaths. 67,636 daily tests carried out, 27,367 people currently positive, 278 those hospitalized in a non-critical area and 31 in intensive care. As for the overall data, there are 312,157 total cases in the Region, 5,830,157 tests performed so far, 277,803 healed and 6,987 dead people.

SARDINIA

In Sardinia there are today 891 further confirmed cases of Covid positivity, based on 4,727 people tested. A total of 21,267 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic. There are 15 patients admitted to intensive care units (1 less than yesterday). There are 142 patients hospitalized in the medical area (4 fewer than yesterday) while 8505 are cases of home isolation (675 more than yesterday). The death of an 88-year-old woman residing in the province of Oristano is recorded.
