LAZIO
There are 3,702 new Coronavirus infections today, 4 March 2022 in Lazio, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. There have been 20 deaths since yesterday. In the last 24 hours, 39,196 swabs were processed, of which 26,342 antigenic. There are 1,169 inpatients, 61 fewer since yesterday and 91 intensive care units employed, 7 fewer since yesterday. In the last 24 hours, 8,780 people have healed. The ratio of positives to swabs is 9.4%. The cases in Rome city are at 1,710. “The decrease in cases continues and the descent of the curve” announces the councilor for health of the Lazio Region, Alessio D’Amato.
Going into detail, in the Asl Roma 1 the new cases are 561 and 6 deaths in the last 24 hours, in the Asl Roma 2 the infections are 657 and 4 the dead, while in the Asl Roma 3 there are 492 new positives and 2 deaths. In the Asl Roma 4 the new cases are 215 and 1 death, in the Asl Roma 5: 334 new cases and 2 deaths while in the Asl Roma 6 there are 411 new infections and 1 death.
In the provinces there are 1,032 new cases of which 386 in the Asl di Frosinone and 1 death; one death also in the ASL of Latina where there are 413 infections; in the Asl of Rieti 89 new cases and 1 death as well as in the Asl of Viterbo where there are 144 new cases.
CAMPANIA
There are 3,622 new infections from Coronavirus today, 4 March 2022 in Campania, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday, 10 deaths have been recorded, 7 of which occurred in the last 48 hours and 3 occurred previously. In the last 24 hours, 27,707 swabs, both molecular and antigenic, were processed. In Campania there are 37 Covid patients hospitalized in intensive care, 648 in hospital wards.
EMILIA ROMAGNA
There are 2,162 new infections from Coronavirus in Emilia-Romagna today, 4 March, out of a total of 24,207 swabs performed in the last 24 hours, of which 11,743 are molecular and 12,464 rapid antigen tests. The bulletin of the Region reports it. There are 22 deaths. Patients currently hospitalized in intensive care in Emilia-Romagna are 66 (-3 compared to yesterday, equal to -4.3%), the average age is 63.7 years. As for the patients admitted to the other Covid departments, there are 1,193 (-36 compared to yesterday, -2.9%), average age 74.8 years.
PIEDMONT
There are 1,794 new infections from Coronavirus today, 4 March, in Piedmont according to Covid data from the Region’s bulletin. 34,304 swabs performed, of which 30,491 antigenic. There are 36 hospitalized in intensive care, unchanged from yesterday. There are 737 inpatients not in intensive care (- 61 compared to yesterday) There are 42,098 people in home isolation. The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 15,762,399 (+34,304 compared to yesterday). Two deaths.
LOMBARDY
There are 4,326 new infections from Coronavirus today, 4 March 2022 in Lombardy, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday, 37 deaths have been recorded, bringing the total death toll since the start of the pandemic to 38,726. In the last 24 hours 55,912 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic swabs with a positivity rate of 7.7%. Intensive care admissions drop: 89, one less than yesterday, while those not in intensive care drop to 894, 57 less than yesterday.
TUSCANY
There are 2,751 new covid infections in Tuscany according to today’s bulletin, March 4th. There are also another 15 deaths. 955 cases confirmed with molecular swab and 1,796 by rapid antigen test, which bring the total to 866,985 since the beginning of the Coronavirus health emergency. New cases are 0.3% more than the previous day’s total. The healed grew by 0.4% and reached 832,696 (96% of total cases). Today 7,032 molecular swabs and 17,418 rapid antigenic swabs were performed, of which 11.3% were positive. On the other hand, 5,238 subjects were tested today (with antigenic and / or molecular swabs, excluding control swabs), of which 52.5% were positive. The currently positive are 25,192 today, -3.2% compared to yesterday. There are 783 hospitalized (13 fewer than yesterday), of which 47 in intensive care (6 fewer). There are 15 new deaths: 7 men and 8 women with an average age of 86.9 years.
ABRUZZO
There are 1,017 new coronavirus infections registered today, 4 March, in Abruzzo, bringing the total from the beginning of the emergency to 26,8050. This was reported by the bulletin with the covid data of the Region. Of today’s positives, 604 were identified through rapid antigen testing. The death toll of patients records 11 new cases and rises to 2,986. . 312 patients (-12 compared to yesterday) are hospitalized in the medical area; 13 (unchanged compared to yesterday) in intensive care, while the other 63,720 (+517 compared to yesterday) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL. The number of positive cases also includes 201,019 discharged / healed (+499 compared to yesterday).
BASILICATA
There are 494 new covid infections in Basilicata according to today’s bulletin, 4 March. There are also 3 other deaths. 2,707 swabs (molecular and antigenic) carried out in the last 24 hours. The deceased people resided in Picerno, Teana, Pisticci. 532 healings were recorded. The hospitalized for Covid-19 are 95 (+1) of which 1 (-2) in intensive care: 53 (of which 1 in TI) in the Potenza hospital; 42 in that of Matera. Overall, the current positives residing in Basilicata are about 19,600.
CALABRIA
There are 1,819 new infections from Coronavirus today, March 4, 2022 in Calabria, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday there have been 7 deaths for a total of 2,117 victims since the beginning of the pandemic. The number of hospitalizations in Calabria is stable at 272, while the intensive care units employed are 18, one more than yesterday.
FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA
There are 509 new coronavirus infections today 4 March in Friuli Venezia Giulia, according to data from the latest covid-19 bulletin. There are another 9 deaths. ” Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia 180 new infections have been detected on 3,761 molecular swabs, with a positive percentage of 4.79%. In addition, 5,654 rapid antigenic tests have been carried out, from which 329 cases (5.82%) were detected. People admitted to intensive care drop to 12, while patients hospitalized in other departments drop to 164 ”. This was announced by the deputy governor of the Region with responsibility for Health Riccardo Riccardi.
SICILY
There are 2,434 new coronavirus infections today 4 March in Sicily, according to data from the latest covid-19 bulletin. There are another 28 deaths. On the island there are also 4,175 healed. In total, the number of positives is 220,907 – 1,501 fewer than yesterday – and of these 967 are hospitalized in the ordinary regime, 67 in intensive care and 219,873 are in home isolation.
