Sars-Cov-2 reinfections in Italy date back. In the last week the percentage, out of the total number of cases reported, has increased slightly compared to the previous 7 days, reaching almost 16% (15.8%). This is what emerges from the extended report of the Higher Institute of Health on the Covid-19 pandemic in Italy, the impact of infections and vaccination efficacy.
“From 24 August 2021 to 21 September 2022 – reads the Report – 1,089,184 cases of reinfection were reported, equal to 6.2% of the total number of cases notified in the same period”.
