Today, Friday, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection announced in its weekly bulletin that a total of 37 new cases of (Covid-19) had been registered.
In the weekly bulletin of the (Covid-19) outcome, which covers the period between March 18 and 24, the ministry highlighted that 6 million, 882 thousand and 583 people received the third dose of the anti-virus vaccine, while the number of those vaccinated with the second dose rose to 23 million 423 thousand and 613 people. , compared to 24 million and 921 thousand and 923 people who received the first dose. And 60 thousand and 658 people received the fourth reminder dose recommended by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection for the elderly and people with disease factors.
The ministry added that the new toll of HIV infections raised the total number of confirmed cases in the Kingdom to one million, 272 thousand and 622 since the first case was announced on March 2, 2020, with a weekly positivity rate of approximately 2.7 percent.
The new cases were recorded in the regions of Rabat-Salé-Kenitra (17), Casablanca-Settat (10), Fez-Meknes (4), Souss-Massa (3), Marrakech-Safi (2) and Guelmim Oued Noun (1).
The total number of active cases reached 49, while no serious cases were recorded during the same period.
