In order to provide an effective response to emergencies, the Coyoacán mayor’s office signed a collaboration agreement with the Command, Control, Computing, Communications and Citizen Contact Center (C5) of the CDMX.
“This will allow us to improve surveillance, optimize the response to emergencies and, above all, provide greater protection to our citizens with faster and more precise actions in preventing and combating crime,” said the mayor. Giovani Gutierrez.

For his part, the general coordinator of the C5, Salvador Guerrero Chiprés, indicated that the agreement implies specific collaboration to connect the institutional aspects of the mayor’s office with the Security Cabinet itself through the C5.
He recalled that in C5 there are five emergency attention lines that are: 911, *765, 089, Locatel and the new Anti-Extortion Line that is serving six weeks, 55-5036-3301.
In addition, the Seismic Alert is housed, the dispatch of the Emergency Pre-Hospital Care Units and the most important thing in terms of volume and presence in the City, which are 84 thousand video surveillance cameras.

Finally, Guerrero Chiprés announced that in the coming months the C5 will reinforce video surveillance with all mayors’ offices.
“There is a magnificent opportunity to promote Coyoacán, promote the City, promote the country brand and of course, continue with this trend of reducing the incidence of crime,” he said.
