Case against those who participated in the mega Thiruvathira organized by the CPI (M) in Thiruvananthapuram. Parashala police have registered a case against 550 people. District panchayat member VR Saluja is the first accused. The case is for violating the Kovid protocol. The mega Thiruvatira was organized at Parashala ahead of the Thiruvananthapuram district conference. A case has been registered against those who participated in Thiruvatira. There were many people in the audience. No case has been registered against them.
Congress leader M Muneer had lodged a complaint with the state police chief against the organizers of the Thiruvatira. The complaint also demanded that a case be registered against Minister V Sivankutty, politburo member MA Baby and district secretary Anavur Nagappan. The case is based on this complaint.
