Pathanamthitta: CPM attacks Vanitha panchayat president outside Pathanamthitta. Soumya Vijayan was attacked. Soumya said she was surrounded and attacked by women activists in front of the office. The assailants tore the churidar and pulled off the shawl. Soumya said she had lodged a complaint at Koipram station. The no-confidence motion against the president had failed the previous day. This was followed by the invasion.
