CPM gave an indication that it has dropped the complaint against EP

Thiruvananthapuram ∙ The CPM has signaled that it has given up further action on the allegations leveled within the party against Central Committee member EP Jayarajan. When the question regarding this was raised in the press conference after the state committee, CPM state secretary MV Govindan’s response was ‘no objection, no decision’. Govindan said that in response to the question whether EP Jayarajan has confirmed the complaint raised by P. Jayarajan in the state committee, he should be asked.

There were no discussions regarding this in the three day state secretariat and committee meetings. P. Jayarajan’s allegation that there was illegal acquisition of property behind the construction of an Ayurvedic resort in Kannur, in which EP Jayarajan’s family has a stake, created a huge stir.
