Gan Yu (gan yu), a Chinese worker at a hydro-electric plant in the Sichuan province of China, was at work at the plant when a powerful 6.8 magnitude earthquake hit the country, killing 93 people.
When the ground began to shake, Yu called his co-workers and begged them to flee, he decided to flee to a mountain near the factory. Following the massive damage caused by the earthquake, in addition to the 93 dead, thousands were injured and a large number of people were declared missing. This is when many forces worked to locate and rescue them. One of these people was Hugh, who was considered missing for no less than 17 days!
When he was found by a local villager, he looked scared and shocked by the fact that he was found, he was injured after apparently being damaged during the earthquake, and needed medical attention. He was taken by helicopter to a hospital in the area for further medical treatment. This was reported in the Chinese media.
