the interior designer Rinat Avraham: Smart planning to create a bathroom inside the master bedroom, incorporating a glass partition to let in light and a twist of mesmerizing color in the bricks.
According to the designer: In this project we created a bathroom out of the master’s room when in the past there was a service balcony instead of the bathroom and the entrance was from the opposite wall. A bathroom in the parents’ bedroom was important to the tenants despite the limited space, however we did not want the parents’ room to be dark and benefit from only a small window. From here came the decision to make a glass partition and bring as much natural light into the bedroom as possible. The brick wall facing the parents’ room was created out of desire for privacy despite the glass partition.
Removing the gloss to the bedroom wall created one space and continuity between the bathroom and the bedroom. The bathroom is comfortable and practical, despite being very small. The brick follows inside into the bathroom at the same height and thus we created a combination and contrast between the contrast of the green of the brick and the surrounding neutral tile.
