The Akila Dandari Prachar Sabha and Vivekananda Seva Kendra have joined forces to launch the Sanatana Dharma Explanation and Awareness Campaign in Pollachi, Tamil Nadu. The opening ceremony took place yesterday in front of the Subramaniaswamy Temple, with Sivasanmukha Sundara Addikalar, State General Secretary of the Akila Dandari Prachar Sabha, leading the initiative.

Addikalar spoke to the media, emphasizing the importance of conducting a nationwide awareness campaign on Sanatanam (Sanatana Dharma) to guide Hindu believers. He mentioned how initially, ministers in Tamil Nadu opposed the term “Hindu,” and are now opposing the word “Sanatanam.” However, he emphasized that Hindu Sanatana Dharma encompasses all living beings and that God manifests himself in every form of life.

The campaign aims to educate and inform Hindus about the significance of Sanatanam and how to perform divine worship effectively. Addikalar stated, “We have started this awareness campaign to create awareness among Hindus all over Tamil Nadu about how to perform divine worship.”

He also called on the government to act in a way that promotes unity among all religions and avoids any situation where the Hindu community feels oppressed. Addikalar highlighted that other religions do not advocate for the abolition of Sanatana and that Sanatanam is synonymous with Hinduism.

The campaign seeks to create a deeper understanding of the meaning and practices associated with Sanatanam, fostering a sense of unity and respect among Hindus. The organizers aim to obtain the government’s permission to carry out the awareness campaign throughout the state.

As the campaign gains momentum, it is expected to address misconceptions about Sanatanam and further strengthen the bond within the Hindu community. The organizers hope that by promoting awareness and knowledge, Hindus will have a better understanding of their religious beliefs and practices.

The Akila Dandari Prachar Sabha and Vivekananda Seva Kendra remain committed to upholding the values of Sanatanam and ensuring its preservation for future generations. Through this campaign, they aim to instill a sense of pride and reverence for the age-old traditions of Hinduism.
