Creativity and commitment in the evangelical kindergarten of the Pauluskirche

Last October, the daycare studio of the Pauluskirche’s evangelical kindergarten launched a creative initiative that was met with great enthusiasm not only by the children but also by the parents. Under the direction of the dedicated educators Ms. Döring, Ms. Miller and educator Mr. Busch, a place for artistic development and community was created. The idea of ​​the daycare studio was quickly approved and a team of parents and educators was formed. In the weeks leading up to Advent, the Pauluskirche was busy sewing to create unique pieces for the Christmas bazaar. The lifeblood of volunteer parenting paid off when the self-designed works resonated with the community and laid the groundwork for future projects.

A special project was recently launched in cooperation with the kindergarten’s support association: the design and production of farewell pillows for the preschool children. Bright children’s eyes received these lovingly designed memorabilia. The aim of the campaign was to give the children something meaningful to take with them through the daycare studio and the association – a reminder of their unforgettable kindergarten days.

Another highlight was the most recent kindergarten festival, where the association organized an impressive raffle. Generous donations made it possible for the children to win fascinating prizes, including vouchers for a wide range of leisure activities and coveted toys. The sale of tickets went quickly and the children clearly enjoyed their prizes. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made these bright eyes possible.

The activities of the association will continue to make children’s hearts beat faster in the future. On September 16, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., a pre-sorted flea market will take place on the premises of the Pauluskirche. Here you can buy clothes, toys and much more. Part of the proceeds goes to the association and thus enables further great projects for the benefit of the children.

In order to ensure the continuation of these valuable campaigns, the association relies on donations. Membership in the association is also very welcome. The flyers are in the foyer of the Pauluskirche and the electronic application is available on the parish website.
