“The binomial art and science is very important to understand that the creativity we apply in science is the root of artistic expression, therefore they are two intertwined phenomena linked to our brain and our culture. Women have often combined a passion for art and science and over the years they have suffered from excessive marginalization with respect to their contribution, both in the artistic and scientific fields.Today, this does not happen, we have sectors of science such as Medicine or Bioengineering where women are very present, because they combine the will to be useful and to have a social impact, with the scientific-technical aspect.Biorobotics, for example, is the fusion of the technique of robotics, of automation with the idea of saving humanity from the point from the point of view of health, to use robots to fill our disabilities and shortcomings, to support therapy and rehabilitation, then integrate the machine with the human being to give the latter all its potential”.
