The fintech, born in 2020 and currently unprofitable, hopes to develop in France and on the European market.

The fintech Blank announced on Friday a fundraising of 47 million euros from its great sponsor Crédit Agricole, via several of its entities, the young company intending to take advantage of the rise of the self-employed to develop in France and in Europe. Blank is remunerated via subscriptions to a traditional banking service (maintenance of a professional account, provision of a payment card, etc.) but also thanks to a set of ancillary services, from the creation of the structure (statutes, kbis …) to editing quotes or invoices, and providing an interface for automating Urssaf declarations and payments. “Our added value is that around the bank, we allow our customers to simplify a certain number of tasks“Said Simon Parisot, co-founder of the company, to AFP.

The start-up, not profitable for the moment, was born in 2020 in the incubator of the large French banking group, The factory by CA. It is wholly owned by Crédit Agricole, via its regional banks and the listed entity, Crédit Agricole SA. Based in Paris, Blank intends to develop in Europe, particularly in Italy, in the wake of the office opened in May in Milan. The company, which has around sixty employees, claims 20,000 accounts opened since its creation, with a monthly rate of around 2,000 currently. The range of services is marketed under the Blank brand as well as through the Crédit Agricole and LCL networks.
