Castilla-La Mancha is the Autonomous Community with the most hectares planted with pistachio in Spain, more than 46,000, Ciudad Real being one of the most important provinces in the collection and production of this raw material. Despite the fact that this region has not been traditionally grown, the pistachio boom arrived in Castilla-La Mancha a few months ago.
