Bollywood movie ‘Crew’ directed by Rajesh Krishnan. The movie stars three star actresses Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon. This low-budget movie was released on 2000 screens worldwide on March 29.
Tabu, Kareena and Kriti played the roles of friends in the movie ‘Crew’. The performances of the three heroines have won the hearts of the audience. Vishwaapi grossed Rs 152.91 crore. Kareena Kapoor Khan spoke about the success of this women-centric movie in an interview given to the Indian news agency PTI.
Kareena Kapoor Khan said, “Films are a medium of entertainment. If a movie like ‘Crew’ has a strong message…. The film has three female leads. It was released in theaters. We have done a business of over Rs.150 crores. The film ruled that there is no gender bias anymore. We are now trying to break the rules.”
“The hero-heroine is talking in the film, that’s not the case. A person who takes forward the content of the film. We keep trying to do that. I choose characters, which are funny and have entertainment elements. I am very happy that ‘Crew’ has broken barriers. Women can also break the box office rules — this is being vigorously debated.” Kareena Kapoor Khan said.
