Coimbatore: RP Groups and India qualified for the quarterfinals of the Coimbatore District Cricket Association Cricket League entry match yesterday. On behalf of the Coimbatore District Cricket Association, league entry matches are being held in Coimbatore and Pollachi.

With this, the Windies won by 56 runs and advanced to the quarterfinals. Similarly, in another quarterfinal match, batting first, RP, the Groups team, scored 134 runs in 22.3 overs.
RP, Manoj of Groups team, added 52 runs for the team. Navneethan of the winning team took three wickets. With a target of 135 to win, the batsmen were restricted to 84 by the RP, Group bowlers with their skillful bowling.
Navaneethakrishnan took three wickets. With this, the RP Groups team advanced to the quarterfinals, winning by a margin of 50 runs. The quarterfinals will be played today at Peelamedu PSG, Medical College Grounds and Pusaripalayam Diamond City Grounds.
