Indian innings:
Top order batsmen did not perform well in the Indian team that fielded first. The reason is that in the beginning the balls became extra bounce. The batteries could not predict this accurately. Rudraj Kejriwal 5 (7), Ishant Kishan 27 (26), Shreyas Iyer 4 (2) and Rishabh Bandh 17 (23) were all out for big.
Large Partnership:
Hardik Pandya and Dinesh Karthik, who were at the next farm, formed a partnership. At first they played casually to predict the pitch, then they started playing aggressively. Dinesh Karthik continued to play brilliantly after Hardik’s 46 (31) and completed his maiden half-century in T20 cricket at 55 (27). India scored 169/6 in 20 overs because of his aggressive play.
